A simulacrum was held at Cipan for rescue in confined space, with the collaboration of the Firefighters of Castanheira and the Firefighters of Alverca that lasted about 1h30.
The simulated situation was related to an operator working inside a reservoir that “fractured a leg” and had to be removed inside the space using external means of assistance.
This action constituted a good exercise for both entities: Cipan (to evaluate the procedures of operation and rescue in confined spaces) and for the Firefighters (to train their teams in real context regarding the operating conditions).
