At Suanfarma, we are entering an exciting new chapter. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Pere Mañé Godina as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His arrival marks a significant step forward in our journey toward industrial consolidation, sustainable innovation, and accelerated international growth.
Pere brings with him over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations and CDMO leadership, having held executive roles at leading global companies such as Uquifa, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Esteve Química (Esteve Group). His background spans technical, operational, and strategic leadership positions, including General Manager and Group Chief Industrial Operations Officer.
Most recently, he played a pivotal role in the industrial transformation of Esteve, positioning its chemical division as a global benchmark. Under his leadership, the company was named CDMO of the Year – Small Molecules at the DCAT 2025 Leadership Awards, one of the industry’s most prestigious recognitions.
Pere’s appointment aligns with our long-term strategic vision. Carlos Alonso, who has served as interim CEO since October 2024, will continue to support the company as Executive Chairman, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. As Carlos notes:
