The R&D division’s constant quest for developing new technologies for generic drug substance production has led breakthrough processes in many different therapeutic areas. We develop high-quality intellectual property and off-patent pharmaceuticals for markets all over the world. We cover all areas of product development, from route of synthesis design and optimization, analytical services, to manufacturing and registration.
Our R&D multidisciplinary team is composed of experts in Pharmacy, Chemistry, and Engineering, all with extensive experience in Development and Technology Transfer conforming to international standards. Product portfolio
We manage development and maintenance of the Suanfarma portfolio through a specialized process for selecting new products. We have established a sophisticated project analysis system based on Business Intelligence and Market Analysis studies, which involves a multidisciplinary team of experts from various synergistic areas.
API development
We focus on developing alternative, non-infringing multi-step synthesis routes through commercially viable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly processes. As a result, we have extensive experience in developing in-house analytical methods, as well as conducting MoA (Method of Analysis) comparisons under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Our team is highly proficient in regulatory filings and possesses vast experience in documentation, including impurity and stability studies.
Project management & CDMO partnership
The Business R&D Unit identifies, negotiates, and secures agreements for the development of APIs with CDMOs/CMOs. This outsourcing model is supported by our Project Management and Control team, who ensures ongoing projects are monitored throughout and our milestones are reached. We excel in technical support, troubleshooting, and Technology Transfer.
