The work we do here at SUANFARMA Italia is important for many people around the world. Thanks to our patient engagement program our team has the chance to meet some of the people our active ingredients help.
Last week, SUANFARMA Italia had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from A.I.D.O., the Italian organ donor’s association. During their visit, we had the chance to sit down with A.I.D.O. Vallagarina President Remo Caneppele, Vice President Arcadio Gelmi and Vice President Luisa Canalia to talk about the patients that A.I.D.O. helps, and the important work that they do before taking them on a tour of our plant.
This visit was part of SUANFARMA Italia’s patient engagement program, an initiative that aims to bring our team closer to patients and patient associations.
As part of this program, this summer we also had the pleasure of hosting Federico Bernasconi, a kidney transplant recipient who today is able to live a full and normal life thanks to the pharmaceutical ingredients produced in our establishment.
Having a chance to meet the people who rely on our products is a powerful reminder that the work that we do has a real-world impact on others.
